Create a Content Strategy
If you are serious about growing on Social Media, you must read this post.
Having a content strategy which you can follow is essential.
Let’s jump right into it!
In today’s post, you’ll learn:
Why you need a content strategy.
Examples of content schedules.
How to create a content strategy.
Actionable steps.
Why you need a content strategy.
When you are posting, without having in mind a real content strategy, you often find yourself, wasting countless hours, just to even post a short phrase.
I know that has happened to all of us, but don’t worry, you are here to fix that.
The next time you hope on your Social Media of choice, you must know why you are there, and what you have to do. But having to think about what to post every time might result in the exact opposite of what we are trying to achieve.
To fix this, we must have a content strategy, that we know we must follow if we want to reach our goals.
Examples of content schedules.
Nowadays, there are many different tools you can use to improve your schedules and make more content faster.
I used to use notes app on my phone, but I soon realized there were much better alternatives.
Of course, you can always use Google Calendar, or whatever calendar you have on your phone, but I think it’s much better to have one app only for Social Media content, that’s why I recommend you use either of these:
Buffer, this app, allows you to schedule posts in advance for many different social media platforms, the only downside is that it’s sometimes a little buggy when sharing long-form content like threads.

Another great option is Notion. I like this one more, for several reasons.
Inside Notion, you can search for many different content creation schedules. Just search for it, and choose whichever best fits your needs.

How to create a content strategy.
Before going to Notion, there are some things you must know.
What sort of content strategy do you want to have? An aggressive one, and posts hundreds of posts? Do you want to make memes? Or would you rather share a few long-form posts?
You get to choose, but whatever you choose, stick to it.
Usually, when people make schedules, they overestimate what they can do in an hour, so don’t fall into that trap.
You must be very aware of how much time you want to spend to creating all the content you need, but most importantly, you must be sure you can get it done in that timeframe.
Actionable steps.
Now that you understand the importance of having a good content strategy, let me guide you on how to create it.
First, you must go to Notion, and download their app.
Once you’ve got that done, check their content schedules, which are created by the community.
Now, once you’ve downloaded the best one for you, start writing, and get all your ideas there, that way you won’t forget a single thing.
Also, if you want to automate it fully, you might want to use some content scheduler if the notion template doesn’t allow it. You can use Notion to write your content, and later schedule it with Buffer.
