Partnering with micro influencers

Power of micro influencers
When you think about micro influencers, you think about accounts in the few thousands of followers. But…
By micro, I mean anyone with a social media account that is active, even your uncle, as long as she doesn’t have over a thousand followers.
Why are they “powerful“?
Easy, your aunt followers are not the same as a huge account has. One knows who their follower are, and the other doesn’t.
Micro influencers > Macro influencers
When you want customers for your business, who would you rather want to promote it?
Someone from town, whose followers live there, or someone from outside with a larger audience?
In case of doubt, think about how much will each one charge.
The first one may even do it for free, while the other one will be more pricey and will get less qualified leads, as it reaches people who will never even visit your town.
This doesn’t apply only to local business. If a small niche account quotes your content, it is more likely to get you new followers, than a big account that doesn’t fit your niche.
And, yet again, for a fraction of the price.
A lesson from Gary Vee
Gary talked about this on a recent podcast, where he mentioned the huge leverage small accounts hold.
If you have a social media account or a business you want to grow, you must get in contact with the smallest yet more related accounts.
Then, you should ask them for a shutout, they will more likely accept, as they don’t think their audience holds much value.
If they are unsure about the shutout, a tiny fee will surely be enough to get them happy.
Gary Vee, who is now one of the most successful entrepreneurs, have used this tactic for this own benefit, and has profit massively from it.
I hope you start applying this technique and see how your business grows.
